A young family-owned company relies on over 60 years of experience in tank construction

Lipp & Mayer Technology Ltd. was found in 2016 and specializes in silo machines for tank construction, especially for welded tanks and membranes made of steel. However, the young company can look back on 60 years of experience in the development and construction of silo machines and tanks, which is attributed to the inventive and creative power of Mr. Xaver Lipp. As early as 1968, the double-fold technique was developed by Mr. Xaver Lipp, which enables spiral manufacturing of containers of high quality and sustainability. Based on this experience, Lipp & Mayer works closely with Mr. Xaver Lipp on new and further developments in the field of container construction.

As a technology company we have Know-Kow in machine and tank construction. Thanks to a broad network of regional manufacturing companies, we realize our ideas and manufacture our machines according to technical and economic requirements.

In addition to our products and services, we offer interested companies and partners cooperation on the basis of technology transfer agreements or license agreements. In the countries (EP member states, USA, Canada and Russia) an exclusive license for the use of various welding technology patents has already been granted, which is why it is currently not possible to issue further licenses for these territories or to supply patent-compliant products.

As a family-run company, we are proud to share and expand the success of our technologies with partners worldwide. Whether as a licensee or technology partner, we rely on close cooperation between us and our partners, so that both benefit as much as possible.

With our Chinese joint venture company we look back on on many years of close cooperation, which is characterized by mutual success. Especially with the double fold technology our partners have been building containers and plants in China for more than 25 years. We agree that the innovative welding technology of Lipp & Mayer has great potential and we would like to jointly benefit from the advantages of the new technology in China in the future.

In order to use the advantages of Lipp- und Mayer welding technology and to apply the technology successfully in China, we founded a joint venture in 2018. As a family-run company, we are very proud of the trust of our Chinese partners and friends. At the same time, the joint venture enables the development of new markets through material and cost-efficient container production, which is possible with Lipp & Mayer welding technology compared to conventional tank production.

We are particularly proud of the intensive cooperation with our Malaysian partners, which has now been in place for more than 10 years. Together with our partners we are in the process of successfully establishing our new and innovative technologies, in particular the welding technology of Lipp & Mayer Technologie GmbH, in Malaysia. We are very much looking forward to further close cooperation in the future.
